New Bedford has a long-standing history as the Whaling City, but it's also widely known for its Portuguese immigrant population - including Mr. Jet's parents!  That being said, there are no lack of Portuguese restaurants and cafes around the city.  A new one popped up a few weeks before our wedding, Tia Maria's European Cafe, and they spotted us racing around town for our portraits and asked us to pose with them for a photo!
Notice the giddy look on my face?!  It's because they brought us a set of pastries called Pastels de Nata.  They're these amazing custard-filled pastries that I cannot get enough of.

We practiced our cake serving technique...
...then headed back to the trolley bound for our next, and final, stop!
